Katharina Hohmann Author
Katharina Hohmann combines her expertise as a psychologist with an M.Sc. and a lecturer in emergency psychology with her deep commitment to crisis intervention and grief counseling. As the author of the children’s book Milly the Owl and a Suitcase Full of Questions, she also provides a gentle introduction to highly sensitive topics such as grief following suicide in families, thereby bridging the gap between clinical practice and empathetic prevention.
Carolin Gallacher Illustrator, Designer
Carolin Gallacher works as a designer and project manager in Bremen. In her independent work she writes and illustrates picture books. Through her poetic and wild visual style she creates stories that inspire happiness and courage. She designed and illustrated Milly the Owl and a Suitcase Full of Questions because this story simply had to be told.

“There existed no story like this for children. It’s a relief to know that each book about Owl Milly helps a child somewhere.”
