Carolin Gallacher works as a designer and project manager in Bremen. She draws since she was five years old. In her personal work she makes picture books with a particular focus on music and imagination. Through her poetic and wild visual style, she creates stories that inspire happiness and courage.
About Music
Music was always a part of her childhood home. Maybe this led to Carolin listening to a record, years later, in a small flat in Frankfurt, reading the text on the record sleeve. She had it opened like a book. Then it hit her: „I’ll add a soundtrack to the story“. The music enhances the experience of the story by providing harmonious melodies.
About Imagination
She studied landscape architecture in Berlin. Here you see her favourite space: The Tempelhofer Feld. It’s a huge area which has been an airport once. The sketch above she was supposed to draw as a student. During her studies, she developed a desire to create art that goes far beyond the boundaries of reality.
