Here you see Lotta’s colour: a warm orange. She also gets her own music-language. For this spread I chose Mercedenz Benz by Janis Joplin. First I just chose it because it matches the melody-style I aimed for. Then I actively listened to the text. It’s just perfectly fitting the scene.
It was also the last song Janis Joplin recorded before her death. I’ve known this song since I was a child, but I didn’t know that—I think that detail makes it pretty sad, too.
