About Picture Books
I studied Landscape Architecture in Berlin. Here you see my favourite space: The Tempelhofer Feld. It’s a huge area which has been an airport once. The sketch above we were supposed to draw as students. In my studies I developed the wish of making picture books, because suddenly I could create out of the borders of reality-design.
My stories will have a soundtrack. I had this moment; I was listening to a record, while reading the text on the record sleeve. I had it opened like a book. “That’s it!” I thought. That’s my format. The music will strengthen the experience of the story by offering accompanying melodies.
